Thank you so much for this moment of calm!

Mission accomplished - I felt like I was getting a letter from a friend!

Settling in to a week of developmental editing with my manuscript and getting back on the fitness train here. Wish me luck!

Look forward to hearing more from you. Your vibe is spot on❣️

I love this and am looking forward to reading them...I believe the fine of art of letter writing is dwindling down. I loved writing letters to friends and family. My dad was a stickler of sending a written thank you note when us kids received a gift. Sad to say, he passed away and my letter writing has gone down hill fast. He was the only person that I wrote to and responded back.

Sending a handwritten birthday card in the mail, just gets left unopened until I ask if they received it. Or now a days, it's an e-card via email. Thought still is counting, yet the majestic nuance of opening your mailbox and seeing a letter / card there just for you is quite ecstatic to receive - the glee, joy and happiness I feel.

Would love to see about starting a letter exchange...or in the days of old "Pen Pal" group.

Hi Deborah, thank you for taking the time to share your story and I’m sorry to hear your dad has passed - it sounds like you’re very much carrying the torch for his passion of letter writing though.

I hope you enjoy the letters going forward and maybe at some point in the future there could be an option for a ‘pen pal’ group - just now I’m going to stick to my weekly letters though 😊🫶🏻

Thank you for your condolences...It's been 4 years, yet his passing left a little void. Yet this helped in remembering the good times we shared.

I wasn't asking for you personally to create a "Pen Pal" Group, was maybe writing out loud (WOL). Sometimes my fingers type what I'm thinking on their own volition. LOL.

😄 I know what you mean Deborah, I have a habit of saying things like that too ☺️

Today has been 2 years since we lost my father in law, thankfully my dad is still here but I can imagine the void that you feel and glad my letter brought back fond memories for you 🫶🏻
