Such a great acronym to use and one that definitely made me pause to think. Funnily enough I spend time talking to others about the value in the ritual of making tea and waiting for the kettle to boil as the antithesis to modern life x
Having that clarity is so important. And making time for those things that we like and give us energy is something we need to be deliberate about; otherwise, life has a habit of taking over.
I love how something as ordinary as tea can reveal how we spend our attention
" The act of drinking the tea represents where our attention is being spent β¦ does drinking a cup alone in silence resonate? How about scrolling on our phones, chatting to a friend or maybe taking sips whilst working? Weβre all different and appreciating our individuality is key to making choices that work for us.
Hi Rosy, I have to admit Iβve been drinking tea most of my adult life and now that Iβve made this connection, drinking my cups of tea have made me more aware of where Iβm spending my Time Energy & Attention - itβs a great opportunity to redirect if theyβre being hijacked by scrolling or unhelpful thoughts.
